# What is VoxBot VoxBot is a text-to-speech (TTS) system built for livestreams. It provides fast, reliable TTS and AI voices that can be triggered through chat commands and played on stream. Creators use VoxBot to let their viewers to interact with their stream in a unique way, with a library of hundreds of voices, VoxBot brings an level of audience interaction available nowhere else. Before you can use VoxBot you will need to create an account. Creating an account is 100% free and only takes a couple of minutes to sign up and connect your first streaming platform. After you sign up, you have full access to the VoxBot dashboard. ### Signing Up On the landing page of VoxBot click "Sign In". You will be redirected to the login page where you can create an account or sign into an existing account. Currently we support sign in with Google and sign in with Discord. Choose either of these options and an account will be automatically created.

### Connecting a Streaming Platform After creating an account and being redirected to the VoxBot dashboard you will be asked to add a streamer. You can optionally skip this step, but until you connect a channel to your VoxBot account you will not be able to use TTS. If you skip this step, or if you want to add an additional streamer in the future, you can access this page again by clicking "Add new streamer" in the channel selector on the bottom left of the dashboard. **Link New Account** * Choose this option if you are setting up VoxBot on a new channel. * Connect a channel from Twitch, Kick, Youtube, TikTok, Rumble, PumpFun, Trovo, or Parti. **Join a Team** * Choose this option if someone sent you a code to join their VoxBot team. * This will add you to an existing VoxBot team where you can help manage the configuration of another streamer.

### Connecting Multiple Platforms If you multistream there is no limit to the number of channels you can connect to your VoxBot account. In the [settings](https://vox.bot/dashboard/settings) page you can add a channel from all the platforms you stream on. VoxBot will receive all messages from these platforms and use them to generate TTS.

# Creating TTS commands Setting up text-to-speech commands that can be used by chat. TTS (text-to-speech) commands are how viewers can create TTS audio messages that are played on stream. By sending a TTS command in the stream chat (for example `!tts I love your stream)`, the audio will be automatically generated over a couple seconds and outputted into your streaming software. ### Adding Voices from the Library By default you should already see a default male and female TTS voice in your command list, but to add additional voices to your command list you can do so through the [voice library](https://vox.bot/dashboard/library). The VoxBot voice library contains hundreds of AI voices, including voices of celebrities, other streamers, TV/movie characters, and more. Non AI voices voices can also be found here, such as the TikTok text-to-speech voice and other iconic TTS voices. To add a voice to your command list click the plus button next to the voice.

### Configuring TTS Commands On the [TTS Commands](https://vox.bot/dashboard/commands) page you can view and configure all TTS voices & commands on your account. Each command has multiple settings that can be edited: * **Command:** The command to activate this TTS voice. All text following this command will be played as text-to-speech. * **Permissions:** Restrict this command to viewers with a specific role, such as only mods or only subs. By limiting voices to subs only you can encourage viewers to sub to your channel and reward those who already have. Many streamers have increased their sub count by doing this. * **Toggle Command:** Enable or disable this command. If needed, you can enable/disable all TTS in the [playback settings](https://vox.bot/dashboard/playback).

# Configuring your Streaming Software Add VoxBot as a browser source to OBS, Streamlabs, Meld Studio, your IRL streaming app, or anything else you use to stream. VoxBot integrates directly into your streaming software or app as a browser source. This means there are no downloads, no finicky plugins, and no complex setup. # Using Text-to-Speech Trigger TTS messages by sending a message in your stream chat. If you have at least one TTS command configured, a channel connected to VoxBot, and the browser source added to your streaming software you can send text-to-speech commands on your stream. If you stream on a platform that always has a chat available (like Twitch, Kick, Parti), you do not need to be live to send TTS messages. However, if you stream on a platform that only has a chat available while live (like YouTube, Rumble, TikTok) you do need to be live to use TTS. ### Sending a TTS Command Any enabled TTS voice in your command list can be used to generate TTS messages. Type the command in chat followed by the message you want played through text-to-speech (for example, `!tts What game is this?`). Different commands can be used to trigger different TTS voices. There is no limit on the number of TTS commands you can have enabled. After a TTS command is sent it will be automatically played through the browser source in your streaming software. Non AI messages are normally generated and played within a couple seconds. AI messages can take 1-2 seconds longer to be generated, although the length of the message can make this faster or slower. Typically all messages are generated and played on your stream within a few seconds of being sent in chat.

Supported platforms have unlimited access to all TTS voices on VoxBot, including our library of hundreds of AI TTS voices. ### Twitch VoxBot fully supports text-to-speech for Twitch. Connect your Twitch channel through OAuth in the VoxBot dashboard settings. Twitch chat is always available, so TTS commands work whether you're live or offline. ### **Kick** VoxBot fully supports text-to-speech for Kick. Connect your Kick channel through OAuth in the VoxBot dashboard settings. Kick chat is always available, so TTS commands work whether you're live or offline. ### TikTok VoxBot fully supports text-to-speech for TikTok Live. Connect your TikTok account in the VoxBot dashboard settings. TikTok chat is only available while streaming, so TTS commands only work during live streams. ### Rumble VoxBot fully supports text-to-speech for Rumble. Connect your Rumble channel in the VoxBot dashboard settings. Rumble chat is only available while streaming, so TTS commands only work during live streams. ### Parti VoxBot fully supports text-to-speech for Parti. Connect your Parti channel through the VoxBot dashboard settings. Parti chat is always available, so TTS commands work whether you're live or offline. ### PumpFun VoxBot fully supports text-to-speech for PumpFun. Connect your PumpFun channel through the VoxBot dashboard settings. PumpFun chat is only available while streaming, so TTS commands only work during live streams.
